Information & services

Local game progress

The game stores your level and experience, completed stages, inventory and equipment, gold, potions, and language, sound, music, and vibration preferences on your device, with a local backup. These saves are not uploaded to a studio gameplay server or synchronized between devices by Jianborn. Your operating system may back up app data according to your device and cloud settings.

Advertising and privacy choices

The mobile game uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). Google and the advertising providers identified in applicable privacy messages may receive IP addresses and approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers where available, app and ad interactions, ad impressions, and diagnostic or performance information. These services use information for ad delivery and measurement, analytics, service reliability, and fraud prevention. UMP processes privacy-choice information to determine and remember applicable choices. Availability of identifiers and personalized ads depends on the platform, permissions, consent, and provider settings.

Advertising configuration and hosting

At mobile startup and periodically while the app is active, Jianborn requests a small advertising-mode configuration file from www.alchemistgamestudios.com over HTTPS. The request does not include your game save, inventory, gold, or a custom player identifier. The studio’s hosting provider receives the IP address and technical request information needed to deliver the file and may keep access and security logs. Visiting legal pages also involves normal website request information.

Contacting support

If you email us, the studio and its email service receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate issues, and handle privacy requests. The game does not automatically attach your save. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Purposes, recipients, and legal bases

We process information to deliver and protect the game’s online services, investigate stability issues, provide support, manage advertising choices, and meet legal obligations. Hosting, diagnostics, email, and advertising providers process the information needed for their services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety. Local game progress is not sold or uploaded through the local-save feature. Connected services can process technical and advertising data; an offline save does not mean that they collect no data.

Where a legal basis is required, it depends on the activity: providing a service you request, legitimate interests in maintaining game stability and security and answering support requests, compliance with legal duties, or consent where required for advertising-related processing. You can withdraw consent without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. Our providers must protect information consistently with applicable law and their contractual obligations.

Your choices & rights

• Where required, the game presents a Google privacy message before requesting ads. When available, use Settings → Ad privacy to review or change advertising choices. Your device’s advertising and privacy controls provide additional options. Declining consent does not block the offline game; ads may be limited or unavailable.
• The in-game reset removes saved progress and its local backup and starts a new save while keeping your preferences. To remove all local app data, use your operating system’s app-data controls or remove the app as supported by your device. Manage cloud or device backups separately. Reinstalling or restoring a backup may restore data. The studio cannot recover a save it does not hold.
• Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or a copy of personal information; object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact us below for information held by the studio. We may ask for proportionate information to verify and locate your request. Google manages its own records and privacy controls under its policy; we can help direct a request to the relevant provider.
• Deleting the app or resetting game progress does not by itself delete records already held by service providers.

Retention, security, and international processing

Local saves remain until reset, removed, overwritten, or affected by device management. We retain support correspondence, diagnostics, and hosting/security records only as needed for their purpose, investigating problems, and applicable legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them, subject to the service’s retention settings. Retention by Google and platform providers is governed by their own policies. Contact us about a particular record or deletion request.

The studio is based in the United States. Providers may process information in other countries, subject to the protections and transfer mechanisms required by applicable law. Configuration and policy pages use HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.

Children and families

Refer to the game’s store listing for the intended audience and age rating. Jianborn does not ask for a name, date of birth, or account registration. Parents and guardians should review the game, advertising, and device privacy controls and avoid sending children’s personal information in support messages. If you believe a child’s information has been collected improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.

Changes to this policy

We will update this notice when relevant game features or data practices change. The effective date identifies this version. Material changes will receive additional notice or consent where required. This privacy notice explains processing; reading it or playing the game is not a substitute for a consent choice where consent is required.

Using Jianborn

These terms cover your use of Jianborn, provided by Alchemist Game Studios. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play the game for entertainment, subject to these terms and applicable platform terms. If local law requires a parent or guardian to authorize your use, they should review these terms with you. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory law.

The studio and its licensors retain rights to the software, artwork, music, story, and branding. Do not resell or redistribute the game, infringe others’ rights, or disrupt its services. Restrictions on copying or modifying the game apply only to the extent permitted by law; legally protected uses are not excluded.

Progress, items & ads

Updates, availability, and your rights

Gameplay balance, content, supported devices, and features may change through updates. Future chapters or features are not guaranteed unless explicitly offered. Online services may be unavailable because of network or provider issues. The game may contain errors, and device-local progress may be lost through deletion, device failure, or changes to backups. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer protections, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact us if you need help.
